Professional Development

With our comprehensive options for professional development, we aim to assist educators in bringing new content to their classrooms on the Holocaust, contemporary antisemitism, and the intersection of antisemitism and racism. We are not new to this challenge: over the past 5 years we have become a trusted partner of the Philadelphia School District providing customized professional development sessions for over 1500 teachers.

Our professional development sessions:
  • Are provided at no cost
  • Welcome educators from public, private, and parochial institutions
  • Last 50 to 180 minutes
  • Are offered in-person or virtually. Yes, we can come to you!
  • Are custom-built to the age of your students (3rd grade to adult) and your learning objectives
  • Introduce multimodal resources and activities from lesson plans to graphic novels and interactive testimonies
  • Include suggestions for implementing content not just in English Language Arts and History classes, but also in Music, Art, and Science
  • Teachers from the School District of Philadelphia are eligible for professional development credits through the SDP
