Student Engagement Opportunities

We prioritize student engagement by offering a variety of opportunities to enhance their learning experience and foster meaningful connections.

Here are some ways in which students can actively participate and engage with our resources:

Book Clubs

We are available to lead book clubs specifically tailored for middle school or high school students. These book clubs serve as platforms for literary engagement, encouraging students to delve into Holocaust-related literature. By participating in these book clubs, students can develop their critical thinking skills, gain a deeper understanding of historical events, and engage in thought-provoking discussions.

Classroom Discussions and Lesson Plans

Our team of two is equipped to conduct classroom discussions, creating an interactive and enriching environment for students. We are well-versed in facilitating meaningful conversations about the Holocaust and related topics, helping students critically analyze historical events, examine different perspectives, and develop empathy and understanding.

Holocaust Memorial Plaza Tours

Educators are encouraged to reach out to us for assistance in developing pre-visit lesson plans, and for support in determining which stops to focus on during a given tour. We provide opportunities for student virtual and in-person site tours. These tours enable students to connect with the history and experiences of the Holocaust through firsthand encounters. Furthermore, students can actively participate in public events and attend informative sessions conducted by our team.

Summer Scholar In Residence Program

The Summer Scholar in Residence Program offers the opportunity for an exceptional student to learn about the interworking of a small non-profit.
